Your healthcare professional draws 15 ml of blood using a sterile medical device. The syringe containing the blood is centrifuged for 5 minutes in order to divide the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) from other blood components. Your healthcare professional then injects the PRP at the treatment site (e.g., your scalp, your hairline) to stimulate the body’s regeneration processes. the procedure uses the body’s own substances, it is comparably safe and well-tolerated. The platelets contained within the blood plasma then release growth factors that promote the growth of the hair follicles.
The treatment usually takes less than 30 minutes. The suggested initial treatment cycle includes three treatments at an interval of one month, followed by a maintenance treatment every three months.
