EnerPeel in Heswall, Wirral
Welcome to Sarah White Laser & Aesthetics, where we introduce you to the rejuvenating power of EnerPeel, a specialised chemical peel treatment designed to revitalise your skin.
Within the EnerPeels® system, we use the Salicylic Acid Peel and Mandelic Acid Peel, both of which are for targeted skin conditions. The Salicylic is for oily/acne skin and the Mandelic is designed to treat the management of rosacea, thread veins and sensitive skin.
What is an EnerPeel and how does it work?
The EnerPeels® are a procedure in which a chemical solution is applied to the skin to help treat skin issues.
The Salicylic Acid Peel is designed to break down oil and surface debris in acneic skins while also introducing the three key ingredients to control inflammation, kill bacteria, reduce oil production and normalise excess skin cell production. The Mandelic Acid Peel is designed for management of rosacea and thread veins and is ideal for peeling throughout the summer months and for those with sensitive skin. The EnerPeels® contain MSM which has been shown to promote normal healing and to restrict chemicals that may cause irregular or hypertrophic healing.
FAQ's
How many treatments of EnerPeel do I need?
Each course of EnerPeels® is recommended as a course of 3 at 4-week intervals. Maintenance peels are usually repeated after 3 months.
Are there any side effects of EnerPeels?
The most common side effects are:
Erythema, Itchiness, Peeling, Dryness, Tenderness, Swelling. All of these side effects are normally temporary and are usually settled in a couple of days depending on which peel you have had.
Is there any downtime for EnerPeels?
After a peel, you may notice that your skin is flushed, pink or red and your skin may also feel dry or tight. At or around day 3 post-treatment you may experience some slight peeling or flaking. This is to be expected and will last 1 – 2 days. It is possible that you may have no peeling or flaking. If there is no peeling or flaking this does not mean that the peel is not working. The Enerpeel® system is designed to remodel from within with as little downtime and surface trauma as possible. The chance of all of the side effects happening and how obvious they are all depends on the type of peel you have had.
What areas can be treated with an EnerPeel?
The most common areas to treat with EnerPeels® are the face, neck décolletage and back.
How soon will I see my results from EnerPeels?
Depending on your specific skin type and problem, you may see results after one peel but the course is designed to work over 3 months so it is then that you will see the optimum effect.
