What is Radiesse and how does it work?
RADIESSE® is a dermal filler that contains a small quantity of local anaesthetic (lidocaine).
The product is made up of CaHA microspheres in a water-based gel. RADIESSE® is non-animal based and free from animal protein. RADIESSE® is injected into the skin of the face to smooth away wrinkles and folds such as the lines from your nose to the corners of your mouth (nasolabial folds) RADIESSE® may also be injected in the lower part of your face to improve the contour of your jawline. The addition of lidocaine helps to improve the comfort of the injection.
Radiesse is a semi-permanent dermal filler for lifting and contouring with long-term collagen stimulation. Intended to reduce deeper lines, for dermal and sub-dermal soft tissue augmentation, such as nasolabial folds, marionette lines, cheeks and contouring of the jawline.
